Prince Edward Island Railway

Prince Edward Island Railway: "Prince Edward Island is connected to a rich history of 1.Transportation
2.Communication

The railway is a ghost on Prince Edward Island.

We have a national treasure to preserve and to protect.

Prince Edward Island communities have common ties.

Connecting history to every station. The railway weaves through every cross road on Prince Edward Island,

There are less than 400 railway workers left on Prince Edward Island.

The confederation trail still needs to fulfill it original vision and become a provincial heritage site.

Commemorating our links of steam and communication with Canada.

Every community on prince Edward Island has a railway story and a historic adventure to present.

Prince Edward Island needs a Dynamic icon of heritage.

Our communities railway legacy is a common Icon that has not yet been fully explored or developed.

Prince Edward Islands history of transportation and Communication is told in the stories stones and station all along the confederation trail.

Community development,Tourism and technology projects\programs could encourage heritage preservation.
Provincial departments need to be harmonized.
encouraging common threads of history to emerge.

Stimulating interactive presentations.
Creating common links of heritage along the trail.

The Prince Edward Island Railway.
An Island wide project that every community can participate in.
